Apple announced that it is going to bring out an updated and faster iPad during the 2018 Apple Spring Event. The executive team and the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, made the announcement at the Lane Tech High School in Chicago on Tuesday.
They discussed about this new iPad at large and gave an insight into the educational plans of Apple. They have designed this new iPad in such a way that it will offer creative new ideas for the students and teachers.
The new iPad is an updated version of the low-end iPad offered by Apple. It comes with 9.7-inch screen and would be priced at $299 for schools and at $329 for consumers. The pre-orders for the new iPad started on Tuesday itself. The best part about the new iPad is that it will work with Apple Pencil.
The students can use the Apple pencil to work on their art projects and for other educational purposes on the iPad. The $99 Apple pencil will be offered to school students ten dollars cheaper.
The new iPad is offered in gold, silver, and space gray finish. It comes with A10 fusion chip from Apple, HD video recording, front and rear cameras, and FaceTime call support.
