Bears Linebacker Urlacher Elected To Hall Of Fame

There is great news for the fans of the Chicago Bears and especially the fans of Brian Urlacher. The legendary linebacker has been elected to the professional football Hall of fame. This was his first year of eligibility and Brian was able to get voted into the football Hall of Fame. He deserves to be in the Hall of fame.

This is a fitting award to the staunch Chicago Bears linebacker. He has spent his entire football career as a professional with the Chicago Bears from 2000 to 2012. There were many fans and football greats who believed that he had the potential to enter the Hall of Fame. This was known to many about five years ago when he had retired from professional football.

Urlacher said that he was a bit nervous to be voted into the Hall of fame. Nevertheless, he is happy to have won this prestigious honor that every football player cherishes and dreams to have. He was the defensive rookie of the year and followed it up with the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award in 2005. He started his career as a safety at the University of New Mexico. Once he joined the Bears, he took up the linebacker position.
