Without Fixes For CHIP And DACA, Sanders Vows To Vote ‘No’ On Spending Bill

As the Congress of US switches gears from forcing through a GOP tax plan that serves to the richest Americans at the expense of families who are working to voting on legislation to fund the government, the Senator Bernie Sanders says he will oppose the spending bill and he will do this to call attention to demands children health care program of federal and undocumented immigrants which are is running out of money rapidly.

While 42 Senators from the Democratic Group have reportedly swore to filibuster the ongoing resolution and trigger a government shutdown in the condition where Republicans induce any provisions in the spending bill that would dent environmental regulations, Sanders said on Wednesday that he will vote “no” because of the CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) which expires at the end of September as well as DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) which administration of Trump has terminated earlier that month.
